So, instead I picked up some wheatberries from Edge of the Woods, soaked them and planted them. Now I have wheatgrass!

I don’t have a wheatgrass juicer, nor have I even tried wheatgrass juice, so I’m using the grass clippings I’ve been taking to mulch my other window boxes. I have to say though, my favorite part of having this is just to run my hand over it. It’s so lush! And yes, I am strange, but that’s okay. 🙂

Wheatgrass proponent Schnabel claimed in the 1940s that “fifteen pounds of wheatgrass is equal in overall nutritional value to 350 pounds of ordinary garden vegetables”*-,.
